The cover and gaskets are great. The gaskets are tight in the cover making it easy to install without them falling out, and the valve cover does not leak. The cons of this valve cover are that the bolt holes for the beauty cover do not line up making it only possible to get the front 2 bolts in, the PCV hose connection on the back is larger than OEM making the hose barely fit the connection, and the gas cap is hard to install and figure out. Also, there is no literature for the torquing sequence nor is there a checklist of what is in the box(There were additional parts left over after install, but it was due to the valve cover fitting different engines, creating unneccessary mental stress and research.).The biggest issue I have though, is that the way the valve cover is packed. It is packed great overall, but when you try to get the foam blocks off the inside, they pull the CVV ports out. They are held in by friction, and if you do not pay attention, you will wind up installing the valve cover without them, requiring a 2nd install with new gaskets, and as tight as the PCV hose is, one of those as well due to high risk of breaking it.
Overall, It is good value for the cost and will get rid of that pesky oil leak, just take your time and understand there will be a few minor shortcomings because of it.
Lastly, make sure you order a new Secondary Air Injection Check Valve Gasket (N51 engine, one time use) and intake manifold gaskets as you will have to pull the air intake to attach the new hose during the process. Also, do your homework on the torque pattern for the bolts and whats suppose to be included for install (gaskets, CVV ports, etc.), because as stated above, this product does not come with any literature at all indicating whats in the box, or torquing sequence. I purchased shocks for my 2013 volvo s60 and they feel and handle like the OEM shocks. Pricing is great as compared to the other shocks on the market. They fed a 2004 Toyota Corolla.
Just really wish they came with the bolts for the control arms. They fit A 2004 Toyota Corolla
I just got them installed and they work really good but I don’t really know how long they’re gonna last.
