We’re sorry for the frustration and the delay this caused while you were trying to complete your repair. We reviewed the application and the VVT sprockets included in this timing kit.
For the applicable 2011 Buick Regal 2.4L configuration, GM uses the same camshaft phaser, OE number 12621505, for both the intake and exhaust camshafts. The kit therefore correctly includes two identical phasers—one is installed on the intake camshaft and the other on the exhaust camshaft—even though both components may carry an “Exhaust” marking.
We understand why receiving two parts with the same marking would appear to be a packing error, and we agree that our product information should make this configuration clearer. We are reviewing the listing to prevent the same confusion for other customers.
Our customer service team will also contact you directly to verify the vehicle information and make sure you have everything needed to complete the repair.
