Part was as advertised. Fast shipping. Failed After Only 3 Weeks of Real Use
Unfortunately, this product did not meet my expectations. I installed this CV axle on my 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo on January 31, 2026. Although it has been three months since installation, the vehicle was in the shop from December through March 30 due to a major coolant leak, meaning the axle has only seen about three weeks of actual driving time.
Within that short period, I began noticing a ticking noise from the side where the axle was installed, along with significant vibrations and a “tire skipping” sensation at higher speeds. Based on these symptoms, it appears the CV joint or boot has already failed and will need to be replaced again.
I’ve purchased many parts from A-Premium, and most have performed well, including components used in my coolant system repair. That said, this particular part was disappointing. I hope this review helps others when making their decision. Difficult to reinstall sprig clips
There is no set of holes in the guide slots for the spring clip to anchor to on the ear of the brake pad. Only ONE hole exists. Make sure the spring clip is clear of the brake rotor. Turn the wheel outwards and place car in neutral ( once the car is chocked and e brake is on) then rotate wheel to make sure there's no grinding of the spring clip by the edge of the rotor What A Relief!
Took me a while to find this site, but boy am I glad I did! Replacing a car door actuator is a lot of work. It's also a lot of money. So, it's a good thing I was able to get what I needed at a fraction of the price. Thanks, A-Premium! Great quality and great service as usual!
