I have ordered several parts and all have been correct and great quality. Delivery has been on time or early. Installed for only a week. So far, so good....
On a 2020 Edge, it was pretty easy to get to - needed a screwdriver to pry off the handle cover, exposing two 7mm bolts that had to be removed with a socket extension (I used a 1/2 drive extension converted to a Bosch battery operated impactor). The cover then comes off rather easily by pulling (harder than you think) on the back of the fascia, while prying INWARD with the fascia that it connects to that goes around the window. Make sure to disconnect the wire going to the pushbutton on the liftgate trim or else you will snap it off!! From there, it's three T-40 torx bolts, disconnecting two connections, and pulling the thing out. On this actuator, there is a sticker across one of the connections to make sure you connect BOTH of them to the new piece, and one of the connectors on this A-Premium Actuator has a 6-12" extension wire. Remember also to re-attach the liftgate button before putting the fascia back on, because you will not be able to save yourself by fishing your fingers in between the metal and fascia if you forget!! The biggest PITA is putting the fascia back on. My word to you -- if you're paranoid that you're going to at least break one of the white plastic clips when removing the fascia, you probably will. If that is important to you, you might want to have 3-4 of those clips on hand just in case. This makes pretty much the identical "pop" sound when the liftgate goes up, but makes a different "click" sound when the liftgate closes and latches, but only an ADD person like myself will recognize that. Make sure you put a little white lithium grease on the latch when you're done! Hopefully this piece will last longer than the OEM piece which is prone to failure within 3-4 years (mine failed at six years). For great and easy install
